Show Me Sound Focus Drumline (St. Louis, MO)

Receiving the only standing ovation of the entire day, Show Me Sound Focus Drumline provided a breath of fresh air - as well an entertaining show that created an instant connection between the audience and the performers. Calling upon a catalogue of familiar tunes - particularly those within the Jackson 5 canon - Show Me Sound's performance was a perfect example of the effect the activity has on those who participate. The production itself was "old school" oriented, but still managed to generate a rousing response from the audience. Moonwalking, versatile musicians and an energetic performance made Show Me Sound one of the most discussed ensembles of the entire day. Congratulations to Terry Artis and the ensemble for making the trek out here to California - it was a worthwhile experience for everyone involved and concrete proof of the timeless experiences and educational values that this activity provides.
